Megan Selchan, MA, LMHC, CEIS
Clinical Director & Partner

Megan is a founding Partner and Clinical Director of Puzzle Pieces, LLC. As a business owner she is driven to fostering growth in the practice while maintaining the integrity of its roots and mission statement.  Megan is passionate about sustaining the unique character that the family-centered model offers to the clinical experience for clients, clinicians and community partners.  She believes that every child and family is an opportunity for professional growth and embraces connecting on a human level.  Her experience as a licensed mental health counselor and movement therapist has afforded her crisis counseling experience, Autism expertise and a wide range of child & family therapeutic interventions that have shaped her clinical style.

After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Mental Health at Plymouth State College, she went on to receive her Master's in Movement Therapy and Counseling Psychology from Columbia College Chicago.  Her early professional experience at the Center for Young Children with Autism led her to explore her clinical work with a whole family perspective. Following a stint in child & family crisis counseling in Providence, Rhode Island, she found her way back to the family-centered work of Early Intervention in Massachusetts.  During her 11 year journey in EI, Megan fostered her skills as a child & family therapist and Autism specialist and lastly as the Coordinator of Specialty Services for the program.  As a leader in her field, she was invited to work as a facilitator for the Early Intervention Training Center within the Department of Public Health for over 10 years and is regarded as a consultant and facilitator of professional development for educators, parents and clinical professionals in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Megan is independently licensed by the Board of Allied Mental Health in Massachusetts and is a Certified Early Intervention Specialist. Going hand in hand with the family-centered model at Puzzle Pieces, LLC, Megan has continued her education in DIR® Floortime ™ and is a basic level certified therapist. Megan has dedicated her career to working with children and families and uses diverse therapeutic interventions in her work.

In her personal time, Megan is a busy mom of two daughters and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  Her interests include lazy beach days, paddle boarding, kayaking, skiing, cooking and dance.
